It shall be the mission of the Hillsboro Fire Protection District to provide fire
suppression, extinguishment and life support to all areas of the Hillsboro Fire
Protection District. This mission shall be accomplished through the use of a pro-active force of firefighters, both career and volunteer, that will train in the use of
all the tools available in fire suppression, life support
and fire prevention education
to promote safety in the fire district.
