The District carries an I.S.O. rating of 6 for residents living within five wheel miles of the fire house. 

The District covers 42 square miles.

The District publishes a twice-yearly newsletter for its residents. If you are not currently receiving this publication contact the Fire House at 797-3619.

HFPD offers special services such as a Safe Sitter Program. This program is popular with area residents and is free to all youngsters 12 and older who want to learn safe babysitting practices.

Last year we were dispatched to 631 emergency incidents.

The District participates in the county hazardous materials (haz-mat) unit.

HFPD has nine paid personnel and 19 volunteers, who donate their time as their jobs permit.
